We specialize in applying metabolomics to large-scale cohort studies, offering a powerful tool for understanding the metabolic signatures associated with diseases and health outcomes in diverse populations.

Our research explores the complex relationship between the microbiome and host metabolism, focusing on the identification and quantification of biologically microbial metabolites. By mapping the chemical diversity of compounds produced by the gut microbiota, we aim to uncover their role in health and disease, particularly in areas like metabolism, immunity, and inflammation.

We provide snapshots of the metabolic state of cells and tissues under various experimental conditions, capturing a broad spectrum of metabolites. In addition, by applying isotopic quantification, we can accurately measure specific metabolites, enabling the investigation of metabolic pathways, stress responses, and other key biological processes.
